02: Visit the small Gompa/monastery.

09: From Langtang Valley to Helambu via Ganja-La Pass.

Can enjoy the adventurous thrills takes you beyond the southern rim of Langtang Valley across the river. Then climb through nice serene woods of juniper and rhododendrons to the base of Ganja-La at 4,300 m high. Needs to carry camping equipment and foods for 3-4 days after leaving Langtang Valley and Kyanjin Gompa. An early morning climb to cross Ganja-La at 5,122 m / 16,800 ft high. Requires good team support and fixed ropes to descent other side around Helambu area. Then following the high terrain for few days to Tarke Gyang the main village of Helambu.

10: From Langtang Valley toG osainkunda holy lake.

Interested trekkers with longer days plan for the trek to Langtang Valley with Gosainkunda. Can enjoy having rest day for acclimatization with short hiking, then continue walk to the other sides of Langtang Valley.

The walk takes you to southern sides of Langtang Valley but quite higher to reach the famous pilgrimage site. Gosainkunda with a glacial lake regarded as holy site by the Hindu followers, located above 4,381 m / 14,375 feet. The walk to Gosainkunda from Thulo Syabru and Sing Gompa offers grand views of western Himalayas. Includes Ganesh, Manaslu Himal as far as Annapurna towards far west with Langtang Himal range in the north. From Gosainkunda walk downhill past Sing Gompa to Dhunche, the headquarters town of Rasuwa district. Then drive back to Kathmandu after Langtang Valley & Gosainkunda Trekking.

11: Langtang Valley to Gosainkunda holy lake and cross Gosainkunda-La Pass.

Trekkers with 2 weeks of holiday for the trek to Langtang Valley, can extend the trek with Gosainkunda holy lake. As well as crossing over the high Gosainkunda-La or East Laurabinaya Pass at 4,609 m / 15, 100 feet high. This will cover all the southern ridges of Langtang Himal from North-West to East. 12: From Langtang Valley to Panch Pokhari via Tilman Col.

Next early morning climb to cross over Tilman Col/Pass at 5,308 m/17,414 feet high then reaching towards Panch Pokhari. A beautiful valley separated from Langtang Valley via Tilman Col, the Panch Pokhari means 5 ponds. Located close in the shadow of Dorje Lakpa and Jugal Himal ranges. From here walk towards the road head to Barabise town close to Nepal/Tibet borders. Then few hour’s drive’s brings you back to Kathmandu.
