Best Time For Langtang Valley Trek

The Langtang Valley Trekking is a week longer or more and a moderate-grade walk. With a touch of high altitude, trekkers can enjoy nearly all seasons of the year. The best times are spring and autumn/fall times.

On reaching the hotel, check into your lovely rooms after a long flight and jet lag. Getting refreshed join with other members of Langtang Valley Trekking for briefing. Provided by Himalayan Himalayan-friendly guide or leader, detailed information of the trekking route, local lodge, and food. After briefing a group welcome dinner in a typical Nepalese Restaurant with local folk culture programs.

A free day preparation for the trek to Langtang Valley, to buy and hire necessary items for the trek. The rest of the day is free at leisure, interested people can request for half tour around Kathmandu. Steeped with fascinating heritage sites, of both Hindu and Buddhist monuments.

The morning starts early for a long and exciting drive to Syabrubesi the gateway town and village to Langtang Valley. The drive follows north on leaving Kathmandu, heading past Trisuli town, and then entering Rasuwa district. The road leads winding uphill to cooler hills reaching Dhunche, the headquarters town of Rasuwa district. As well as the entrance of Langtang National Park, from Dhunche downhill on the zig-zagged winding road to reach Syabrubesi. The village has been rebuilt and life is slowly coming back to normal, enjoy the comfort of a nice simple lodge.

From Langtang Village today a short walk to Kyanjin Gompa for lunch and overnight stop. The walk follows past to adjoining village of Mundu with a short steep climb then into a wide valley. From here the tall tree lines drop for short juniper bushes, facing views of Langtang Himal with Dorje Lakpa. Slowly the walk reaches a lovely large settlement of Kyanjin Gompa with a small monastery. The lodges here are much better than previous overnight stops, enjoy the comfort of a nice lodge accommodation. Arriving at Kyanjin Gompa for lunch and two overnight stops, located amidst beautiful surroundings amidst Langtang Valley, Afternoon explore the Kyanjin areas and its small monastery of great religious and cultural interest.

An enjoyable and exciting place Kyanjin Gompa for a rest day, having breakfast options for short and long day hikes. The short hike is a climb to Kyanjin-Ri at 4,773 m and the longer hike of 4-5 hours. Which is a steep climb to Tserko-Ri At 5,033 m high, both viewpoints offer spectacular panorama of surrounding giant peaks. Includes super vista of Langtang Himal range with Langtang Lirung and Langtang-Ri. Overlooking as far as Jugal Himal, Yala Peak, and Dorje Lakpa with some mountains across the border in Tibet. Rest of the afternoon at leisure amidst beautiful mountain surroundings at Kyanjin Gompa.

Enjoy a wonderful time at Kyanjin, with glorious views of towering snow-capped peaks. After breakfast enjoy the longest day walks to Lama Hotel, with a long stretch of downhill. Reaching back into tall tree lines past Mundu, and Langtang villages to reach Lama Hotel for an overnight stop.

Last day walk of the adventure, enjoy heading downhill to Syabrubesi through lovely woods back to Riverside. From here leaving the dense forest towards farm country with descend to a bridge, after crossing the river. A pleasant short walk to Syabrubesi, for an overnight stop. Enjoy the final overnight around Langtang Himal and Rasuwa district the home of the indigenous Tamang tribe.

Leaving Syabrubesi early morning, after a good breakfast, board a vehicle as per the size of a group. The drive heads up on a winding road to Dhunche Town, then downhill towards lower warm farm villages. Heading past Ramche and Mani- Bhanjyang the last town of Rasuwa district to reach Trisuli Bazaar for lunch stop. From this nice town of Trisuli few hours of good drive bring you to Kathmandu, and transfer to your hotel. Reaching Kathmandu by late afternoon for individual activities after a wonderful time on Langtang Valley Trekking.

Last day in Kathmandu and Nepal, after a great memorable adventure around the Annapurna Himalayas. Enjoying a great time on Langtang Valley Trekking. As time for your international airport terminal, our guide and staff transfer you to the International Airport. Accommodation in Langtang Valley Trek

The facilities of a single room and attached bathrooms and toilets are not available at present. But can happen shortly, the rooms are nice and cozy with a large warm dining room.

The next overnight stop is Langtang Village or Mundu which is quite close to each other. The accommodations are simple but nice and clean, with common bathrooms and toilets. After Langtang Village is the last overnight stop in Kyanjin Gompa, located in the heart of scenic Langtang Valley. Kyanjin Gompa is a lovely settlement with many fine lodges, offering the best accommodation.

Trekkers can enjoy the comfort of a single room. As well as on a sharing basis, few lodges here provide attached bathrooms and toilets. But one should be aware of the cold temperatures in the morning and nighttime. With the flush in toilets and washing basins, the running water does not function, as the plumbing systems can get frozen. Especially in the morning and nighttime, it is best to use sharing bathe and toilets. Using rooms with non-attached bathrooms, trekkers have to pay extra for hot showers.

Food In Langtang Valley Trek

Food in Langtang Valley Trekking, most Tea-House / Lodges provide basic food and simple room accommodation with a sharing toilets and baths.

The most common meal is Nepali Dal Bhat, boiled or steamed rice. It is served with mild seasonal vegetable curry, including Dal, a lentil bean soup with homemade pickles, and hot sauce as options. 13 .) How much cash should you bring for the awesome trek? Can I use credit cards along the trail?

To have an incredible time on the trek, make sure you have enough cash. You’ll need it for things like hot showers, drinking water, snacks, staying connected, and charging your devices.

We suggest bringing around 2000 Rupees per day as a rough estimate. But remember, it can vary based on how much you usually spend.

Just a heads up, only a few shops on the trail accept credit cards. So, it’s best to have plenty of cash with you before you start your journey!

14 .) Which hotel will I stay at in Kathmandu? Can I extend my stay or upgrade?

First off, you will be staying at a wonderfully pristine hotel of a three-star status here in Kathmandu Pokhara or any other central place depending on your itinerary. These three-star hotels are known for their excellent service and beautifully clean rooms. They are located in very beautiful areas with easy accessibility to markets and restaurants all to make your stay convenient and enjoyable. We’ll make sure that you’ll have a comfortable room with a private bathroom, and a tasty breakfast will also be included.
